The Academy of Science and Medicine is a career pathway program offering students the opportunity to explore the various careers available in the fields of science and medicine. As sophomores, Academy students participate in Academy sponsored activities and go on many field trips. Sophomores also take Biotechnology, a course that gives them experience in the new techniques and equipment used in today’s medical and research laboratories.
